yay for positives! i got my GED test scores back yesterday morning and i passed with flying colors! it’s such a relief to have that all taken care of and out of mind. then today before church i tried on my freshmen prom dress (the one i’ve been trying to lose weight for) and i got it almost completely zipped up. it was just the last inch or so that it refused to budge. so as long as i keep to my exercising every day until i get to AZ i should be able to fit into it perfectly which makes me ridiculously happy. i can’t wait! my trip is in 17 days and i’ve missed my friends and family A LOT. i’m so happy i’ll get to see them all so soon!

while being a little on the repetitive side, this song is all about the moment you realize you have feelings for another person. you might’ve known you were attracted to them, but this is the moment that you decide you don’t want anyone but them. of course you want them to feel the same way, but you don’t want to be the first one to spill your guts and you don’t want to have to convince them that they feel the same. you want them to come to the same realization. that’s the meaning of it. it sucks when you’re in that situation but it happens so often it’s sad. i wish we were chemically designed to only like people who like us back. that would make love lives so much easier.
