I wanted to start blogging about weight loss for several reasons. First of all, if I post both the updates and the pictures on a weekly basis, it becomes a part of my life, and I may be able to actually maintain it. Secondly, since it’s online where people can read it (except my friends who don’t know about this site), maybe it will work out to be a really exciting trip for more than just me to go on. If you want to build some morale, I’d love to make some E-friends who are trying to do the same thing.
My goal for this blog is exactly what I said, pictures and updates weekly. I plan on getting smaller every week if all goes well, even though it will be subtle. I took some pictures of myself (yeah…it’s pretty scary…) and I can’t help but think “WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?” And I’ve already lost twenty pounds! I have about a hundred to go.
Currently I am 5′2″, 240 lbs, and none too pleased when I look in the mirror. I was a much smaller person when I was younger and I can’t wait to get back to a healthy weight. I love healthy food and exercise is my friend (when I have time). It’s one small step at a time and I hope that everything will work out. So.. Day one!
